Vemox 250

Description

Zee Drugs is a company that produces the oral drug Vemox 250. Amoxicillin, an antibiotic penicillin that attacks germs, is the drug’s active ingredient.

Pneumonia, bronchitis (infection of the airway tubes leading to the lungs), infections of the ears, nose, throat, urinary system and skin (acne) are just a few of the many bacterial infections that are treated with Amoxicillin.

Effects of Amoxicillin

One of the most often administered antibiotics, Amoxicillin has a broad spectrum of bacterial resistance and it belongs to a specific class of drugs called beta-lactams.

Amoxicillin and other beta-lactam antibiotics function by attaching to proteins and preventing specific bacterial cell functions, such as cell wall building. This results in bacterial cell walls dissolving, killing the germs, a process known as bactericidal killing.

Amoxicillin 250mg use

Amoxicillin is used in a dosage of 250-500 mg (1-2 pills) taken every 8 hours, depending on the condition it is used to treat. Even if they feel better sooner, patients should generally continue taking Amoxicillin for the whole period of time as directed by a physician.

Side effects of Amoxicillin

It’s possible to experience an upset stomach when taking this drug, although doing so should be less likely if you take it with meals. Headaches, taste alterations, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhoea are some more possible adverse effects. After stopping the drug’s use, these negative effects should not continue.
